I visited Haiti for the first time in 2015. What I saw changed my view of the world and my heart. I was blessed with much success in my 30+ year career with Northrop Grumman Corporation. I worked hard to achieve a wonderful life for my family in the U.S. The environment I saw in Haiti opened my eyes to just how fortunate I had been. Had I been a child in a Haitian orphanage, no amount of work would have brought the lifestyle I had come to see as normal. There is simply no opportunity and no resource to build upon.
I came home committed to bring some opportunity to those with none in Haiti. The children deserve a chance, and I will do what I can to provide them that chance. The children I met in the orphanages of Haiti captured my heart as they would anyone who took the time to meet them.
Ke Nan Ke focuses on bringing opportunity to the children of Haiti. I am very proud to be a part of this organization. I hope my education and experience will help me bring an entrepreneurial thought process to Ke Nan Ke. I have a strong business and engineering background serving as Vice President and General Manager of two different divisions, managing many development programs, and ending my career at Northrop Grumman as Chief Technical Officer for the Electronic Systems Sector. I graduated from Georgia Tech and The Wharton School with a BEE and MBA respectively. Working with my fellow board members, we will establish a charity that plants and grows hope and opportunity for those beautiful souls who have the least.
